Before taking a break from the workforce to have our three children my background was in computers. When the children were all at school I tried a few administration jobs before deciding to work in our family owned service station at Tarago. It was here that I discovered the satisfaction of customer service, so with Tarago having no local agent to promote the area the next question was ‘how to get a licence’

Despite having a good local and business knowledge the last four years have been a huge learning curve into the industry that I believe we have mastered. Thankfully I still enjoy my work everyday, especially the interesting people and places in our rural landscape.

When my wife opened her real estate office I never dreamed that two years later I would retire from my trade of 30 years to become an agent. Mostly working from home, I am running around putting up signs, taking photos, meeting buyers, and the Pest and building agencies. All the nice people I get to meet, it is like retirement without actually retiring.

As our family real estate business continues to grow we are pleased to welcome Megan to the business.

Megan is 24 years old and moved back to Tarago with her partner in March 2010. Megan has completed her certificate of registration and had her first baby in August 2011, so her role in administration and phone sales support suits her bubbly people personality very well. Megan is very excited to be first contact for our 30 lot 1 hectare sub-division proposed for Tarago in 2012.

Debbie has been our property manager since December 2009. Debbie grew-up helping out in busy family real estate offices and is pedantic about detail. She is married with a young family and is a huge asset to our team.
